The original image was drawn in 2012 and I decided to update it a bit with my current skillet to see how much I’ve improved. I have so much fun drawing these adorable babies again.
Because I’m standing firm with this I decided to update it to be a little more specific since some people aren’t getting the hint.
when “character x y/n” fics advertise themselves as something anyone can self-insert into but “y/n” is actually a skinny, white cis woman, that’s where i have big goddamn problem.
if you wanna write you own self-insert porn, fine. but if you’re writing y/n fic, you have a responsibility to your readers to either keep your fiction as inclusive as possible to your readers, or you need to be up-front about the kind of bodies your fiction is written for.
